Help us train every Victorian primary school child in First Aid
We recognise that ‘prevention is better than cure’ and our First Aid in Schools Program has been developed deliberately to teach First Aid to the youngest members of your community – primary school students. With the majority of accidents occurring within the home and 94% of Australians unsure about how to respond in an emergency*, this program continues to develop community resilience.
With engaging trainers and fun hands-on activities, students practice and hone these skills in every class. They have described the classes as ‘pretty cool’, ‘really fun’ and providing them with the confidence to help in an emergency.
However, our program isn’t a quick fix and we require your support to reach our goal of teaching more Victorian schoolchildren each year.
Please support St John in this valuable program so we can continue to build resilience in your community with First Aid knowledge.
